Elsen tasarkhai
Elsen tasarkhai is the small sand dune that located in Burd Soum in Ovorkhangai province and 280 km from Ulaanbaatar. The area is surrounded by sand dunes, hills covered with rare bushes and small forest near the river. Those are together will present you unique combinations of Gobi and Mountain area. Over here, we will ride a camel for an hour.
Orkhon valley via Kharkhorin city.
On this day we will drive to Orkhon valley.
Orkhon valley is the specially protected area. In here, you can enjoy the beautiful nature and see the one of the biggest waterfall in Mongolia.
But before we reach the valley, we will visit ancient capital city Kharkhorin and ancient monastery Erdenezuu.
White lake
Drive to White lake. White lake is the biggest lake in central area and special highlight of this tour.
The lake is 16 kilometers wide, 20 kilometers in length 20 meters in depth, and 61 square kilometers in this area. The Lake is extremely beautiful with fresh water and rich species of fish and birds.
Shine Ider village.
Shine ider is the small town of Mongolia. From white lake to Huvgsgul lake, the road is so long. So we are staying on the way.
Khuvsgul lake.
Khuvsgul lake is deepest and freshest lake in Mongolia. It is 262m deep and 136km long. Over here you can enjoy the nature and relax on edge of lake.

Drive to Urantogoo mountain
The Urantogoo mountain is an extinct volcano that is another attractive and beautiful destination of Northern area. The peak over 1686 m form a circle-shaped ridge about 500 m across that contains a crater lake at about 20 m wide and 1.5 m deep. The Uran and surrounding others are considered to be the remnant of an extinct stratovolcano which formed between about 20-25 thousands years ago.
